Luke Dempsey’s mount likes to be ridden up with the pace and made virtually all at Kilbeggan over the summer. He was again prominent throughout when beating all bar Cecil Corbett over course and distance last week, and a reproduction of that form may be good enough. Moss Grove has added three handicap chase wins to his two successes between the flags, and is the most recent winner in the line-up having scored at Ballinrobe last month. Misdflight will not fail for lack of stamina having been first past the post in a three-mile handicap hurdle at Down Royal back in May only to be disqualified for dangerous riding. The six-year-old gelding switched to fences at Killarney last time, and was still in contention when carried out early in the straight.
