The Rory Story’s trainer Noel Meade will have a good idea of what is required, and he now supplies the chief threat in the shape of Bel Ami De Sivola. The French-bred gelding has shown promise on all three outings, and was placed on both hurdle outings last season including when promoted to second at Down Royal’s Christmas meeting. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market after a ten month’s break. Washington Lady won her only point-to-point start at Tattersalls Farm two years ago, and has obviously been difficult to train since.
