FormscanBy Alan Magee - SANTA ROSSA was one of the leading bumper mares last season and her victory over Bigbadandbeautiful and Jeremys Flame in the Grade Two at the Dublin Racing Festival in Leopardstown has worked out well since. She went on to run very creditably at both Aintree and in the Grade One at Punchestown. Her jumping debut is eagerly awaited. John Snow won on the Flat in France and sets a fair standard having been well-backed on both hurdle starts. He made a few mistakes when third to Front View and Uhtred over this trip at Cork, while Exit Poll is another that should have little difficulty winning a maiden. The Leopardstown bumper winner put in a decent effort when returning to the south Dublin venue behind the impressive Mt Leinster and wouldn’t need to improve too much to take a hand.
