FormscanBy Alan Magee - JOSIES ORDERS went agonisingly close in the La Touche here on Thursday and, while it’s a tough call reappearing less than 48 hours after that stamina-sapping test, Enda Bolger would not let him take his chance unless he was happy the experienced gelding could do himself justice. There is a precedent in his back form as three years ago he landed this race having unseated two out in the La Touche. The roll call of winners over the past two decades shows Bolger has no peer here in the banks races, and his challenge here is ably supplemented by Blue Templar, narrowly beaten over course and distance in the Ladies Cup on Tuesday, and My Hometown. The latter was really enjoying himself in front when unfortunately coming down about half a mile from home in the La Touche.
