FormscanBy Michael Graham - Benjamin Arthey's NETTLEBUSH caught the eye on debut when third in a Down Royal bumper. The winner, Death Duty, proved different gravy to the rest of the field but Nettlebush came in half a length behind the experienced runner-up Catch A Lucky Star. He is likely to be a healthy price and an each way bet is the suggestion. It is worth noting that he was backed from a morning price of 66/1 to an SP of 25/1 in the north. Tarare, in the Ricci colours, is likely to be all the rage. In March 2013 he hacked up by seven lengths in a Belclare point-to-point and is now with Willie Mullins. The bookmakers are taking no chances by pricing him up at even money at the time of writing. He is sure to know his job. Although the horse he beat in Belclare, Sucker Punch, came out and won a point-to-point in Lisronagh, he was well beaten in his two subsequent bumper appearances. You would think there would be more to come from De Plotting Shed but he will need to show improvement after being beaten 21 lengths into second by Our Duke at Punchestown. That winner did look special though.
