FormscanBy Gary Carson - POORMANS HILL was a touch lucky to win over fences in Sligo but he may have another victory in him here stepping back up in distance. He probably would have reeled in Mic Milano then but was making hard work of it until that rival's blunder at the last. To be fair to him the ground was probably softer than ideal then and the trip sharp enough. He has since won again over hurdles in Downpatrick and can strike for the fourth time before the ground gets too bad. Paper Lantern is the other horse coming here on a winning streak but is making his first start since last March. He was a big improver in the spring and if he can pick up that thread on his return he looks an obvious danger. William Du Berlais may just have enough weight now judged on recent runs while Anseanachai Cliste is obviously going to attract attention following the cobalt controversy from last season.
