FormscanBy Donal Murphy - SRUTHAN won this race on his seasonal reappearance in 2014 and he might be able to repeat the feat now. Paul Deegan, Robert Ng and Chris Hayes have enjoyed a great start to the new season and the trio have already combined to score with Aussie Valentine and Mistiness. In what looks a competitive renewal Brendan Bracken is given second preference. The five time winner is a likeable sort and he should give a good account of himself here. Due Diligence is a high class sort but he is likely to come on plenty for then run. The Aidan O'Brien trained colt was last seen finishing second to Slade Power in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Ascot in June and he is sure to prove popular with punters. Sovereign Debt was unlucky at Lingfield on Good Friday and he looks the pick of the UK trio. Alkasser was disappointingly beaten at Tipperary recently but he is tried in blinkers now and it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
