The consistent son of Teofilo was beaten into third in last year's renewal but the ground may have went against him on that occasion. He was just beaten at Dundalk last month, his first start since October, and he should come from that. Massinga is a progressive sort and she was impressive on her last start at Cork. She is sure to prove popular with punters and she can be expected to go close. Aussie Valentine is an interesting contender stepping up to Listed class for the first time. He was second in the Lincolnshire on his seasonal reappearance last month and won at Leopardstown just last Wednesday. Geoffrey Chaucer went off at 10/1 for the Epsom Derby last June but he finished a disappointing last. He makes his seasonal debut here and he looks a leading contender.
