FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Willie Mullins had to settle for second in this race twelve months ago, but he might be able to go one place better now with RIVEN LIGHT. After winning the Colm Quinn Mile at the Galway Festival, the six-year-old was then sent to Seoul for the Korea Cup in early September. He finished a disappointing last there, but back on home turf now a much improved performance can be expected. Mustajeer was third in this race last year, and he is given second preference. The Ger Lyons trained gelding hasn't managed to win a race in four starts so far this term, but he has put in some excellent efforts in defeat, and was a good fourth in the Ebor at York on his last start. Romiyna caught the eye when a fast-finishing fourth here a fortnight ago, and she looks to have solid claims in first time blinkers. Other interesting contenders are Hall Of Fame, unsuccessful in three starts in Qatar, and French import Normandel.
