FormscanBy Michael Graham - DON'T TOUCH IT could be a touch of value against Identity Thief. The selection was third in a beginners' chase at this track in December. He was two and a quarter lengths in front of Acapella Bourgeois who spectacularly franked the form when landing a Grade Two at Navan by 32 lengths. In addition, Don't Touch It showed improvement to win comfortably in Thurles. He clearly relishes a dig in the ground and there could be more in his locker. The weights favour Identity Thief who carries a mark of 150 into battle. He is clearly super talented having hit the heights of Grade One level in hurdling and Grade Two level over fences. His last two attempts at Grade One novice chases have seen him pulled up and unseat, both over course and distance. He is one from five at Leopardstown in his career and may not be great value at the 13/8 chalked up by bookmakers despite this being a drop in class. Great Field has to be respected. The Willie Mullins representative stayed on well to win by seven and a half lengths in Gowran Park. He has had two victories from three outings and is full of potential.
