Madurai himself showed some improved form when winning at Gowran latest and while there was nothing special about that form, he should be able to prove competitive in these sort of races from his 120 rating. Rebelion Boy has also improved for better ground recently but was well enough held at Wexford latest and might struggle to defy top weight here. The West's Awake is very in-and-out but is capable at best while Jaime Sommers, out of Solerina, is consistent and is again helped by her rider’s 7lbs claim. Creative Talent was third in a similar race, albeit in a lesser field, at Cork on his latest start while All’s Quiet was a recent maiden hurdle winner and is interesting on what could be regarded his handicap debut.
