FormscanBy Tom Weekes - DEPUTY’S PASS was once fairly useful and might be able to improve for his recent comeback hurdles run. He was absent for almost two years before his recent return outing but was once rated 119, which is better than most of these rivals have attained. He has already run over fences, when falling late-on, and can be expected to improve considerably for his recent outing. Valgor Du Ronceray was in the process of running well when falling at Clonmel latest (he holds Cable on that form) and can be expected to go close today with that run behind him. Flaviana has now gained experience over fences and can put that to good use and has solid claims herself while Newsworthy has been running well over fences and cannot be dismounted. Sharlanda has been progressing well on good ground recently and is another will also be well schooled for chase debut here.
