FormscanBy Gary Carson - SHARPS CHOICE narrowly lost out on his hurdling debut at Thurles last month and would look the one to beat now. His jumping looked in need of a bit polishing then and he rattled home after making a slight mistake at the last. With that run under his belt and stepping up slightly in trip he has a lot in his favour. Veneziano Springs ran much better on his third outing here last month when sent off a big price. He was only beaten three lengths behind Ask Nile and a repeat of that performance makes him a threat. Without Limites looked a nice sort when winning two bumpers by a wide margins and wasn’t disgraced when a decent third on his hurdling debut at Gowran. He needs to improve on his most recent showing at Limerick but that could be possible after a little break. The two Gigginstown horses don’t look any world beaters. Bryan Cooper rides Clara Sorrento and he could be given a chance on his bumper form but needs to improve on recent showings.
