FormscanBy Gary Carson - DOUBLE SCORES has taken time to get his jumping right over fences but ran much better at Down Royal last time and looks capable of opening his account now. He was just run out of it in the closing stages by A Great View at Down Royal and although that rival ran poorly since he’s not a bad animal. The selection makes more appeal off his mark than Double Island who is rated 121 but was just coming under pressure when unseating here last time in a beginners chase fought out by two horses rated 109 over timber. The more experienced Kilcarry Bridge has to give weight away but he has run well off 119 in a handicap over fences not too long ago and has to be given serious consideration. Goulane Chosen is another with decent handicap form but would need to improve on recent efforts.
