FormscanBy Donal Murphy - A good quality contest, with plenty of future winners likely to come from this seven furlong heat. The one I'll take a chance on is COLUMBIA KID. She finished down the field on debut in a high class maiden at Naas in May of last year, before putting in a much improved performance to finish third on her next start at Ayr. She was doing her best work toward the finish at the Scottish venue, and the step up in trip now should suit. It's also worth noting that five subsequent winners finished behind her at Ayr. The Aidan O'Brien duo of Could It Be Love (first time blinkers) and Hence are likely to prove popular with punters. The latter has some strong form to her name, and went down by just half a length on her return to action at Naas last month. Ger Lyons is also double-handed with Elegant Drama and newcomer Kodi Koh. Colin Keane has opted to ride Elegant Drama who filled the runner-up spot on debut here in November. Others of note here are newcomers Rise Over Cloud and Terzetto.
