The Andy Slattery trained gelding has finished second, first, and third on his three starts to date this year, and another solid effort can be expected from him now with Ben Coen again taking seven pounds off. Fashaar was successful over the course and distance last month, and he is an obvious danger with Kevin Manning taking over in the saddle from Andrew Slattery. This son of Showcasing has been a model of consistency since switching to handicap company, and he can be expected to go close here. Diable d'Or was half a length behind Fashaar when they met here last month, and he is another for the shortlist along with the Colin Keane ridden Curly Girl, and top weight Red Avenger.
