FormscanBy Donal Murphy - AQTAAR, who is out of Group 3 winner Rawaaq, gets the nod here over Himmah. The selection showed good promise on debut at Limerick in June, finishing fourth in the race won by Amenette. She should come on plenty for that effort, and can be expected to go close here with Pat Smullen aboard. The aforementioned Himmah has filled the runner-up spot on four of her five starts to date, and another solid effort looks likely from her now. Feisty Katerina ran well on debut at Fairyhouse in July, but was outclassed in a Group 2 on her most recent start. She drops back to maiden company now, and looks to have solid each-way claims with Kevin Manning in the plate. Others for the shortlist are Big Bad Sal, Coeur D'amour, and newcomer Escallonia.
