FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Dermot Weld has won this race the last two years in-a-row, and he looks to have strong claims again here with ALAYKHA. The daughter of Sinndar went down by just a short head on her debut at Limerick in June, finishing a close fourth on her next start at Killarney. She again filled the runner-up spot on her most recent outing at the Co Kerry venue, and she might be able to go one place better now with Pat Smullen in the saddle. Bound was second in a Listed contest at the Curragh last season, but she hasn't been seen since April, and may need this run. Dawn Choir has been placed on all four starts to date, and another good effort looks likely from her, while it's difficult to be overly confident about any of the rest.
