The vote goes to LE VAGABOND, however, as he looks to have a hurdles race in him off this mark. Edward O'Grady's charge is a better performer on the Flat and ran a cracker when storming home to get within half a length of Sea The Lion in a competitive contest at Leopardstown last time. The ground was wrong for him when he was pulled up over hurdles at Cork on his return to action in early April and with that good run under his belt since he should be a different proposition now. Quamino is another that has to be given a big chance as he won over course and distance in March. Paul Nolan's charge has been runner-up twice since and has crept up the ratings as a consequence. This quicker ground is also a bit of an unknown.
