FormscanBy Tom Weekes - CALTEX is absent for almost a year but might prove good enough to win today. He showed a nice level of ability in two bumper starts last year and while clearly no star, this race represents a drop in class. He is likely to be primed for this reappearance run and it is a positive that connections have opted for a bumper, rather than a maiden hurdle, for his comeback run. Bang Bang Rosie makes her debut for Willie Mullins having finished second at Tipperary in May for Colin McBratney. Her jockey Patrick Mullins partnered the winner at Tipperary and Bang Bang Rosie also has strong claims. Calicojack has a long absence to overcome but showed ability on debut at Fairyhouse in March 2016 while free going Benefit North ran well enough at Down Royal latest but might struggle to win today.
