Urban Gale gets the job done

I'm thrilled with that win. The favourite has no rating over hurdles and won a hunters chase last time out and was now running over two mile three, I felt we had every chance and it's great it worked out. He had a nice run back at Punchestown, we have been slow to run him because the ground is so fast everywhere. We decided to take our chance here so I just hope he's ok in the morning. I'm quite cautious of running my horses on very fast ground.

Isabellareine gets back on the winning trail

She got a dirty big cut the last day she ran and she missed out at Ballinrobe the last day [Tuesday]. She will now mix it for the rest of the season. She is in great form and I'd nearly say she is improving with age.

Mullins and Murphy in luck at Kilbeggan

He has been a bit disappointing in the past and I'm delighted for the owners as Kilbeggan is their local track. We will keep him in handicapping for the time being.

That was great we needed a bit of luck after the other lad [Nedzer's Return 4/7 favourite finished second earlier in the day]. We'll keep him on the go now, he's a Summer chaser and he has plenty of pace.

He won well, it was long overdue. He'll probably go up in grade now. He's just a Summer horse and he need two miles six furlongs plus, the Summer National here could be a option for him. We'll wait and see what the handicapper does. He was a bit unlucky the last day and he jumped really well today.
