Formscan By John O'Riordan - A three-time winner over hurdles, WOODSTREAM LAD can exploit his lower chase rating. Given that he has only had the three starts over fences, the Philip Rothwell-trained gelding remains open to further improvement in that sphere. His prominent racing style should be ideally suited to this sharp track, especially in such a small field. Time Marches On returns to chasing, having run over hurdles of late. Almost certainly a better chaser, the nine-year-old has plenty of experience at this level. Third cover course and distance last month, Bynx should be capable of better after just the two runs over fences.
An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards (120 = 11st 12lbs)
