The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the second last hurdle involving Indian File, ridden by A.P. Crowe, placed fourth and Our Katie, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared that Indian File shifted inwards. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards gave A.P.Crowe the benefit of the doubt, however B.Hayes was cautioned concerning the accuracy of his evidence.

A hurdle race for five yrs old and upwards which have not won more than one hurdle race and that since 29th April, 2012 have not finished first, second or third in a Graded weight-for-age hurdle race
