Cork Sun, 3rd May, 2026
Johnny Soda he is a lovely horse who we bought in the breeze-ups last year and after finishing second in a Dundalk maiden last winter, Adam (Caffrey, jockey then) got off him and said not to run him back there again as he wants a little juice in the ground. Even though he is by Cotai Glory, I’d say he is a 1m2f horse. Not many of his progeny end up jumping, but you could see this horse in that sphere as he is 16.2hh and is gorgeous big horse. He is massive and if you looked at him in the ring, you’d think he was a point-to-pointer. I think there’ll be another big day on the Flat with him and he could end up in Galway. |
Dundalk Thu, 23rd Apr, 2026
Comfort Line Cillian is from Monasterevin and is with me about five or six months. He has a lot to learn, has just turned 18 and had very little experience coming into me. It is great to get that first winner and he has ridden loads of work around here. It is brilliant for a young fella like that to get going. He'll remember this day for the rest of his life, and he will remember that horse as well. |
