Formscan - AWORKINPROGRESS might have lived up to his name over hurdles, but it was a completely different story when switched to the larger obstacles last term. A perfect four from four so far, including a hat-trick of wins at Lingfield, the progressive gelding may still be well handicapped from 7lb higher. Given that he's been successful when fresh previously, this could be another fine opportunity. Broomfields Cave has a lengthy absence to overcome but looks the biggest threat, although Gold Clermont should benefit from a drop in trip.
