Maar (IRE)

I like this filly. She's huge as you can see, she's 16-3, and she's very well bred,. She had a lovely first run here the last day, over a mile and we always knew she wanted another couple of furlongs. She was very impressive there. We worked her during the week and I said something would have to be a 95 horse to beat her. She's a stakes filly and she could be an Oaks filly in the making. We'll definitely go for a trial now and some black-type. She's entitled to do it now. She's not in any of the Oaks' but I think she'll earn her place in it. There is a look to like about her and there are a lot of places we can go with her now. We've had her up here a couple of times but we haven't killed her. She was so immature last year we just took our time with her. We never really worked her, just nursed her along, and it's paid off now as she's really strengthened up. She's still a little on the weak side but fingers crossed she'll go forward.
