After race at Leopardstown Sat, 13th Sep, 2025 (1st)  It’s great, Champions Weekend is a big weekend. Rory is one of my apprentices and he’s been working hard. Thanks to Richard (McNally, owner) and his team this horse came back in good form. He got a bit of a hold-up at the start of the year. I was very happy with his last run, and the plan was always to come here. Seven furlongs suits him well. When the rain came, I thought it would help him. I hope there’s not a golden highway down that outside because I have a few fancied runners later in the day. I said to him to take his medicine (from stall 16), cruise around behind them and get a bit of cover as best you can and then in the straight peel him to the outside. I had four horses and I was shouting for each one of them at different stages. J P Murtagh

After race at Naas Sat, 12th Oct, 2024 (1st)  He’s a horse that always shows plenty at home and is always competitive in those big handicaps. He’s probably getting put up that couple of pounds all the time. He was near a career high mark and it was going to be tough for him to win. He has that ability and when things fall right for him he’s always capable of doing that. He goes very well for Danny, and he timed it nicely today. I think that will probably be it for the year.
