After race at Thurles Thu, 27th Nov, 2025 (1st)  With his progress over hurdles, you'd be hoping he could do that, but I just wasn't sure if it was his time of year. I told the owners if we got beat today, I wouldn't be overly worried as he could be back in May and be a completely different horse. It was great to the get the nicer ground today and he jumped from fence to fence. Darragh loved it and said he could have gone around with his eyes closed. It was a nice performance. Nothing showed up after his previous run (beaten favourite in sixth at Clonmel), but maybe it was a combination of the ground and the handicapper catching up with him over hurdles - may have been the reason. We had to change tack and luckily we had this chase mark in the bank. Emmet Mullins

After race at Listowel Sat, 27th Sep, 2025 (1st)  He was off the track for over a year before his Kilbeggan run the last day, so was entitled to improve, although they don't always do it. An 80/1 chance (Whatyouwant) beat us fair and square, so we had no complaints. That's racing and it'll happen again!. Earlier this week, it was nice to be able to tell Donal (O'Connor, owner) that I thought he had improved and his homework had gone up another grade. He galloped through the line strong, is going the right way and just wants a true-run race. He seems to have one gear and is fit and well now. Emmet Mullins

After race at Listowel Sat, 1st Jun, 2024 (1st)  It has been a year (since his last winner) but it was always going to come. This horse thinks a lot about his races and was going home after he was due to run at Punchestown but he reprieved himself. He followed that run up today and, more than anything, we found a jockey to ride him. At Punchestown I asked him (Mullins) to make the running if he could, but told him to make up his own mind and to go to Plan A,B,C,D,E or F or through the alphabet if he wanted. He came in and told me he couldn't fault the horse but a man with confidence can ride like that. I gave him no instructions today. I won a Kerry National for his owner (Donal O'Connor) with Native Performance when he had a 1-2 in the race but Willie Mullins trained the runner-up. We got the better of Willie for once that day and Donal and his wife led in both horses into the winner's enclosure and got a photo of it. Michael Hourigan
