I’m delighted with both horses (Immutable, third), and the other fella probably wants further. The ground suits both of them and that fella (Grey Leader) has a little issue with his knees, so the soft ground helped a lot. When he travels well like that, he can be a very good horse on his day. He’s in the sales and whether he goes or not we’ll have to discuss it with the owner (Tony Auld).

After race at Galway Thu, 1st Aug, 2024 (1st)
I'm delighted with that as it was a hard blow to take when losing a horse (Sionnach Eile) on Monday night,. This horse was unlucky at Leopardstown the last day and I thought the handicapper was a bit harsh but again I was proved wrong. We have him in again on Sunday over seven furlongs so we'll see how he comes out of this race and that's where he'll go next. He'll get his 7lb penalty and that should get him in.

he’s a very honest horse. He probably wasn’t in love with the ground but that’s the type of horse he is - workmanlike and does a good job. I don’t know what calibre of race it was but he’s a horse that we like a lot. I’d say that will be it for the year. He’s in the sales but whether he goes or not I’m not sure.

He’s a very genuine horse and I’d say there is loads of improvement within a year. The ground is fine for him as long as there are not extremes, he would not want it firm.
