Tipperary Sun, 5th Oct, 2025  Grey Leader I’m delighted with both horses (Immutable, third), and the other fella probably wants further. The ground suits both of them and that fella (Grey Leader) has a little issue with his knees, so the soft ground helped a lot. When he travels well like that, he can be a very good horse on his day. He’s in the sales and whether he goes or not we’ll have to discuss it with the owner (Tony Auld).

Tipperary Sun, 31st Aug, 2025  El Bello It has been a long time since my last win and I didn't have my license for a good few years but always had the odd point-to-pointer. I got Tom (Foley, part-owner), who worked for me when I was in Lisselan Farms, and Don Kingston together so decided to renew my Flat license recently and they gave me a couple of horses. El Bello had been unlucky in-running in Sligo and, to be honest, I was hoping he'd be bang there as he was up in distance today. Nicola gave him a super ride and I went looking for her two days, as she is some rider. I farm as well, so I'm not short of work but would like to build up a few horses to run, preferably over jumps. I'm enjoying being back in it and there were great days with Imperial Call and Whysomayo.

Galway Tue, 29th Jul, 2025  Summer Snow You only dream of Galway festivals winners! I was confident of a good run but, being a restricted trainer, you can never be too confident being up against Willie Mullins and all the rest of them. I have my license for four years, my horses are running well and this mare has been tearing up the gallops at home. I knew we were in for a good run, but to win you can't expect it against the big guns. I had always been pre-training and breaking horses so gave away horses to everyone else. I then had too many and couldn't give them away, so I took out the license. I had been winning mostly with my own horses but Pat (Kelly, owner) gave this mare to me when she was rated 64 and she has won from 81 today. She is going through the ranks and this is brilliant.
