After race at Galway Mon, 27th Oct, 2025 (1st)
I had runners in Newcastle the day this horse won at the Curragh last week and this is great. I loved the look of him at the sales, where he was a cheap horse (3,500gns) and he has rewarded us now. He had a good run in a maiden last year, is a lovely stamp of a horse and has schooled over hurdles. Soft ground is key and he’ll go jumping now. I’m based two minutes from the point-to-point field in Dromahane (Cork) and was training in pony racing all my life. Previously I had been in RACE and rode as an amateur too. I’m lucky with the owners I have and I’m looking to get some backing now. I got my licence in July and trained 400 winners in pony racing, including a Dingle Derby win. We have a yard built at home, have a Wexford sand gallop and there are plenty of gallops around me.
