After The Truant's win earlier in the afternoon at Punchestown, trainer Paul Flynn landed another leg of the William Hill Each Way Extra Challenge Series when Pourquoi Poi readily landed the handicap hurdle over 2m4f. Tue 14th Oct

He’s a grand horse. We always liked him but he was a very weak horse,. David and Albert Broad recommended him to us, they bought him privately and told us he was a nice horse. I was looking for a horse for Paddy. We ran him a few times and then gave him a break. He’s just gotten stronger. He’ll be a much better chaser, I think, in time. He’s a lucky horse so far, I know he’s only won today. I wasn’t surprised he won, he shows us plenty. He’s young but we’ll definitely run him again. He does get a little bit worried and panicky so if there are any signs he's not doing well, we’ll pull the plug. I’d say he definitely won’t be running in January anyway.
