Festival heroes score with Small Doses
Last week’s Cheltenham festival winners trainer Paul Nolan and jockey Sean O’Keeffe combined for a Wexford success today, as well-bred Small Doses (3/1) landed the Treo Eile Maiden Hurdle for owner/breeder Anne Coffey. Mon 17th Mar
After race at Wexford Mon, 17th Mar, 2025 (1st)
he had a few decent runs and if he hadn't been in the first three today we would have been very disappointed. He was plenty green and reached for the second last, but then jumped the last nicely. He was wandering around in front, but he is a well-bred fella and hopefully he'll get better the older he gets. He's won his maiden now, albeit an unplaced one and we'll see what he gets and go from there.
