Having shown little in eight starts under Rules prior to tonight, recent point-to-point winner Tippin And Tappin made a successful return to the track when getting up close home to land the Treaty Plant Hire Handicap Chase at Limerick. Thu 22nd May

he is a big horse for around here but this is a course some jockeys are very good around, and Darragh excels here. A friend of mine Paul Leonard had this horse in his early days and Luke McMahon, his son Aubrey and their friends are involved in him now. Aubrey previously rode out for me and rode Josies Orders (Cheltenham festival winner) in point-to-points.

We bought him for a four-year-old point-to-point horse but he has just taken a lot of time. He got his head in front in a point the last day when he got a great ride from Luke Kelleher, who gave him his confidence. I must say Darragh gave him a great ride and we'll tip away now for the summer. Aubrey McMahon bought him for the syndicate and his dad Luke is involved as well so they're delighted.
