Tippin And Tappin (5/2f) completed a hat-trick of wins at Killarney today, as the Enda Bolger-trained ex-point-to-pointer landed the Europe Hotel And Resort Handicap Chase (Div I) for the enthusiastic Storytellers Syndicate.

The six-year-old gelding’s previous wins came in a point-to-point and a Limerick handicap chase in May and today raced with the pace under jockey Darragh O’Keeffe, with the pair eventually battling to a three-parts of a length win over Zolpharine

Bolger commented “he is a big horse for around here but this is a course some jockeys are very good around, and Darragh excels here.

“A friend of mine Paul Leonard had this horse in his early days and Luke McMahon, his son Aubrey and their friends are involved in him now. Aubrey previously rode out for me and rode Josies Orders (Cheltenham festival winner) in point-to-points.

“That’s two-in-a-row (on the racecourse) this horse has won now, we’re delighted and he’ll come back here in August.”
