She had a couple of good runs at the start of this season and then we thought we’d try the Troytown but it just stretched her a bit. The heavy ground over three miles at Navan just stretched her. It’s a lovely race to win with a great history to it. The soft ground is not too deep and they are finishing quite well today, so we just got away with it. There is a two-mile-five-furlong race at the Dublin Racing Festival and a little bit better ground should be a good fit.

She had a good point-to-point run, but became disappointing in the interim when she became free and it took us a while to get the hang of her. She is an honest mare and, even though she is by Saint des Saints, she had a Flat pedigree and her dam is by Martillo. Black-type will be the ultimate aim, she is going the right way now and you'd never know she might be in the right place at the right time some day.

Conditions suited, her 7lb mares' allowance put her in lovely and was deadly to jump, apart from fiddling one fence. She had been so well schooled for her point to points. Sean thought he'd finish second once the leader kicked on, but she hit the line well. She won her maiden hurdle, a handicap and I'd say the ground was a bit quick the last day she ran. We'll look to Christmas now and might step her up a little in trip.

Absolutely (likeable mare with a good attitude), and she was actually quite green there today. I think it is only her fourth run of her life and you'd forget that. She's going the right way and is a nice mare. She has won on heavy as well. I'm not sure where we will go next, but she has taken a few scalps there. It is great for the owners, they only live down in Duleek. Great to have a local winner.
