We found it hard to keep him sound last season but brought him back this year and he has been 100%. We gave him a run back in Roscommon but hadn't had him away schooling, and he chipped in plenty that day,. He came on today, he was very fresh and stuck his neck out. Willie's (Mullins' runner-up Reaching High) made a mistake at the last but we also got in close to it, but were quickly away. There is a for sale sign on him.

It's only now he's starting to grow up. He's a big horse and I'd say he was probably a bit of a shell of a horse all along. I was disappointed with him up until the last couple of runs. I thought he was a lot better than what he was showing. He actually won well at the finish today. He had a lovely light weight, and he got a very good ride. I'd say he's a horse that wouldn't be one for real winter ground. He likes good ground. If it stays like this he'll probably continue on, otherwise he'll go on his holidays in the next month or that. It was a grand pot to win, and he is for sale as well.

Kieron is a big supporter of Cullentra, is with us a long time and he has just told me that this is his sixth horse with us, and all have won. He is always there to buy one and I'm delighted for him. We might have had luck on our side as we got first run on the runner-up, but he had the experience and fitness, so we left him stride on. He is Flat-bred, but he's a gorgeous-looking horse and that's why we bought him, although he wasn't easy to train in the early days.

She had been ultra-consistent and that's her level. It is great to get it as she was being rewarded for her consistency. The ground and trip suited, and everything was right. She was super fit and had plenty runs. A share of the syndicate were involved in a good horse with me, Cloudy Bays, years ago and while they left me for a few years, they're back again. She wants soft ground so I don't know if she will run again, but to get the win was the main thing. I bred her and had her grandam Barnearrig Lass, who was nearly my first runner (in 1994). She got a 'leg', but afterwards I bred off her as the Pollerton mares were supposed to be good to breed from.
