Navan Sat, 11th Jul, 2026  Gotta Catch'em All They (blinkers) did make a difference, but the dam won five or six for me over five and six (furlongs). It worked out, he's not a slow horse. He deserved that. He was running well, but the handicapper wasn't dropping him either. I think there is more in him. They have stuck with him, good owners and I'm lucky to have them. They are having a bit of fun. There's Dublin, Louth and Roscommon (involved).

Leopardstown Thu, 9th Jul, 2026  Frank Pickle He's been running over one-mile-four, one-mile two. We worked him in the Curragh last week and, he worked so well. Ben just said don't be afraid to come back in trip because he's got tons of speed. He's relaxed now cause he used to not relax. Now that he's relaxed you can actually do something. At this stage I think we can go anywhere with him the way the horse is. Well, maybe not a wee tight track because he is a very good mover with a big stride. Now that he's settled in himself, he's easy to ride. Ben does a great job on him. And the owners are brilliant. They are fantastic owners, the Newells. They are very patient and, he needed patience.

Downpatrick Sun, 29th Mar, 2026  Lips Freedom I suppose the ground has been against him over hurdles, he was keen and took a few runs to get going and just settle. I think he was getting his tongue over the bit, so it wasn't the case that he was nervous and I had the tongue-tie on him but he has no wind problems. I know this track well and had a good mare, Hidden Land, who was keen and here suits those type of horses. You can let them roll and they get a breather up the hill. Hopefully, he will show his potential as he had good form in Germany and actually finished seventh in a German Derby (of 20 runners in 2023). He is just a work in progress and, on better ground he can mix it between Flat and hurdles. He had run in a couple of schooling races and we were hoping that the track and better ground could bring out improvement. Donagh gave him a lovely ride and it worked out. Hopefully, he can be a nice horse who can progress and he could be competitive in some of those nice (Flat) handicaps, so we could bring to England. We wanted to get that winner on the board because we weren't busy last winter.

Dundalk Fri, 13th Mar, 2026  Beauparc She's a nice filly and she has won here before. She has come down to a winning mark again. Once she goes over the 80, she might struggle.

I don't know whether she even needed it (tongue-tie) or not, but I was just listening to her one morning at home on the gallops and, not a wind problem, but she might have been flipping her palate a bit or something. She was a bit noisy, so it was just to see would it help. She has won twice on the turf, and we were talking about even going over hurdles with her. She would be a grand mare for a summer hurdle. She barely get the two miles on the Flat, but she would get it over hurdles.
