Tramore Sat, 31st May, 2025  Sunset Boulevard It was great and a super finish. Sean O'Keeffe was brilliant on Sunset Boulevard, he got a great jump at the last. I thought Ellis Mor was coming to beat him, but he toughed it out. I think he is a horse that will improve the further he goes and probably over fences as well,. The runner-up is a horse that will improve going forward and again for fences. Both owners will have plenty of fun in the months ahead.

Kilbeggan Fri, 16th May, 2025  Malbay Madness He won well. He said he was a bit keener today than the last day but he’s going the right way and he’s a grand horse,. He just got a little bit lit up today, he said he didn’t get as much cover, but he said he finished out the race well even after being a bit keen which is always a good sign. We’ll see what the handicapper does and make a plan from there.

Down Royal Mon, 5th May, 2025  Flying Trix We like him a lot,. He could win on the Flat I think, he has a bit of toe. My daughter and son-in-law (Anna and Kevin Ross) bought him as a foal, and we've always liked him. Everything worked out well. He has schooled over hurdles and fences well, beautifully, so he is a good jumper. He will make a beautiful dual-purpose horse in time. I think he is very adaptable (ground) and is a lovely horse. He hadn't been away from home and never turned a hair coming here.

Limerick Thu, 10th Apr, 2025  Midnight Eagle The change in going was a big thing for her although the last day she just wasn't sparking,. She might have been in season but we didn't see anything but we could definitely see that she was a better mare coming here today. She had a serious-type of a run in Thurles previously. . I bought her for a couple of thousand from Derek O'Connor as she just wasn't his grade, but she is mine!
