Formscan - THE ITALIAN FOX had plenty in hand when winning over C&D last week and is hard to ignore back here under a penalty. That was only his second start in a handicap and a repeat dose could suffice in this weaker-looking race. Groom De Cotte hasn't had much racing over the past year or so, although the 10-year-old showed plenty of zest when second at Huntingdon most recently. He has gone well fresh and cannot be ruled out. Home And Dry and Galassian are each-way alternatives.
