Formscan - HOW IMPRESSIVE didn't really do much to suggest October's 20/1 triumph at Kempton wasn't a fluke until he occupied the runner-up berth at Southwell recently. If he can perform to that level again - and he races here off the same mark - he can go one better. Crystal Dagger very nearly caused a surprise over C&D on New Year's Eve and still has scope for improvement, although consistency isn't exactly a strong point. With that in mind, maybe Captain Parma will give the selection most concern.
