Leopardstown Thu, 9th Jul, 2026  Watch Tower He's been promising to do that. Everything was wrong. We turned up in Limerick the other day and, the ground was gone. He pulled shoes and whatever; it wasn't his day. We just galloped him around which in hindsight helps them. It gets the freshness off them. It was a long time between drinks with him. You can see him. He's just maturing into himself. Hopefully there is another one of them in him. Fast ground is the key; seven(furlongs) to a mile. Just win his races before we move them on.

Navan Sun, 7th Jun, 2026  Bodhi Bear I was just saying to the owners, Sophie and John (Barrett) before the race, that since he has been gelded, he has definitely settled down. Beforehand, he was sweating and things before the race. He has (plenty of pace) and he will be alright. Five (furlongs) on goodish ground is probably sharp enough for him. No (didn't mind the rain), only sorry we didn't have a bit more, but anyway he got away with it. He did (everything right in the race today) and I suppose a stiff five or an easy six is probably his thing. He enjoys it here and won as a two-year-old here.

Curragh Sun, 24th May, 2026  Precise She really stepped forward today and Wayne gave her a beautiful ride. In Newmarket, Ryan was on the 'wrong' side and when he made his move, she got tired, needed the run and Ryan looked after her in the last half-furlong. Roger (Quinlan), who rides her every day, said this morning that she was a different filly than the one going to Newmarket. Wayne gave her a beautiful ride and we're over the moon. We were talking on the way to the races and Annemarie (wife) said how much stamina is in the pedigree and she is out of a really good and genuine Galileo-mare. Obviously the lads (Coolmore syndicate) will make the decision regarding running in the English Oaks so we'll say how she comes out of today. There is a good chance she'll run and Ryan (Moore) felt today that she was running, to go to the Oaks. It is a very exciting and she has an incredible pedigree. It is very difficult on Ryan and we discussed riding arrangements before declaration time. It was very hard for him not to ride True Love and while he didn't ride her in Newmarket because we weren't sure she would get a mile, but she did. Precise was only beaten five lengths at Newmarket, which isn't that much for this type of filly but she is a serious one and is as good as we've had. It looks like she will have no problem going further.

Curragh Sat, 23rd May, 2026  Gstaad He’s a lovely uncomplicated horse and Ryan gave him a beautiful ride. He’s very straightforward and genuine. All the team around him do a great job, there are so many people involved with him and thanks to them. Obviously, he was in Coolmore as well from the time he was a foal. He’s a lovely horse and we always thought that he would end up even getting a bit further than a mile. Ryan was very happy today, he said he was a little bit lazy through the middle of the race but when he got him opened up he went to the line very well. We’re delighted. He got beat in three Group One's last year and we felt that he was a little bit unlucky in the three. We were delighted that he held on to go to America, and he won his Group One. Sometimes when that happens horses don’t get it back, but we felt there were circumstances every day he got beat. He’s very straightforward, he just needs a little bit of room to get going. Sometimes if it gets too tactical or if he gets caught up in pace that wasn’t strong early (it doesn't suit). He’s probably stronger now and the Curragh was lovely. Ryan was drawn wide, and you’d say that would be a disadvantage to some horses, but it was lovely for him because he was going to get a clear run and the pace was nice. Ryan said the best feel he ever gave him was when he won the Coventry, so you’d hope that he’d be very happy to go back to Ascot. The horse we ran in the French Guineas (Puerto Ri

Cork Tue, 19th May, 2026  Jordan Breeze He is a hell of a lovely horse and it was me who messed up the last day (second at Bellewstown), as I told Robyn to hold him up. Watching that race, I knew I had made a mess. Today, there was a mess-up at the start as the horses slammed against the doors, so he got left a bit. Robyn said she slammed against the gates and then fell back, but eventually got out. He goes on every ground, we bred him ourselves and his dam won here. His brother (Beauty Waves) is a serious horse in Hong Kong and has won a Group 3 over there. This horse will go for something similar now, and he could go six furlongs too.

Naas Sat, 9th May, 2026  Chicago Pope He came out of his last race very well and, this was the plan. There aren't that many three-year-old only sprints, fifty thousand, nice pot, very competitive race. We're delighted with that performance. Ben says he thinks a stiff 6f is a good trip for him, so we'll probably keep him for that kind of stuff.

Cork Sun, 3rd May, 2026  Samurai Mike he had been working solidly all spring and is a nice horse. He is owned by Mr Chu, who lives in Hong Kong and I’d imagine this horse will end up going there sooner rather than later. He was just a little bit gross last winter so we gelded him and with him eventually going to Hong Kong, that doesn’t really matter. He is a smart horse though and I’d have been disappointed if he had finished third today.

Cork Sat, 4th Apr, 2026  Oh Cecelia She is going in the right direction and after running yesterday, it was lovely that she pulled out well and did that today. Fortune favours the brave and I told David (Kelly) that she was an inspired purchase by him (for £9,000 in January), so it is all down to him. She lost her good early pitch yesterday and didn't get a run when she needed it, and flashed home a bit. She had a walk yesterday at 4pm, ate up overnight and showed her well-being to me so she was good to go. Billy said she liked racing in isolation and today is another step forward. I 'd imagine she'll get a hike for winning today and I think we'll have a go at the Polonia Stakes in early-May now.

Naas Sun, 22nd Mar, 2026  Oh Cecelia She was fit from her all-weather runs and we didn’t do a whole pile with her,. We weren’t sure about the very deep ground but Billy said she travelled everywhere. When he needed her there was a bit of fight in her as well and she went to the line well. David Kelly is always watching for an opportunity and he saw this filly in an online sale. He bought her and fair play to him as he picked her out. She’s been straightforward since she came. We’ll find something similar in the next few weeks, those three-year-old only races are good when you find them. She obviously copes with the soft ground and she did everything right there. We’ll just keep her happy, she doesn’t seem to need much work. I don’t think she liked Dundalk. On the best of her turf form, off 72, she was hopefully going to be competitive and she has been,. She didn’t win by much, there were three of them there in a good tussle, so hopefully the handicapper gives her a chance going forward. It’s important, if you can, to get a winner early on. It gives you a bit of a line on some of the others.
