Formscan By Tom Weekes - Ex-point-to-point-winner LADY DOYANNE (4) ran well on her chase debut in May and should again compete, in this similar race. A pointing and maiden hurdle-winner, the selection was lightly-enough raced over hurdles so thus remains a fraction unexposed, and having run well over fences at Tramore in May, looks likely to progress from that effort. Tequila Talkin' finished well held in third-place at today’s course in June but should compete here, while the selection’s stablemate Trasna Na Pairce never travelled in that aforementioned race and needs to show more.

He is a lovely horse, Gerry Hogan recommended him from Pat Doyle's and he is owned by a new syndicate to the game so I'm delighted for them. He likes that good ground and previously hated that bottomless ground (in January). Rachael gave him a lovely spin in Kilbeggan last month where he ran well and he probably came on from that. My plan was always to get to a fence sooner rather than later. Darragh has been great, has been for years and it is lovely to see him get the kind of start he has got since Rachael finished up. I'm delighted to see him doing so well.

She ran well the last day after a long break after an injury. We thought on her work at home that she had improved a nice bit. We gave her a nice bit of a break again to maybe eradicate the bounce factor. We thought that was gone out of her anyway because she worked well a couple of times since. Obviously, when we saw Willie Mullins with an odds-on favourite (Mummy Derry) we thought there might be easier options, but the ground is lovely and safe and I'm glad she won.

These are very famous colours and I'm delighted to have Lar on board. He came to me last year looking for a nice winter horse so we bought this horse in Doncaster. I don't think he is a superstar but I hope he will be better over a fence. . We were opportunistic today as the race cut up significantly and we'll look for a handicap now, as I don't think he is up to novice company.
