Hardlass (GB) unseated its rider on the way to the start and cantered loose for a short time.
Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and Doctor at the start, both were deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs out involving Sweet Sonata (GB), placed third, ridden by Marco Ghiani; Juba (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Rob Hornby; the winner, Cindy Lou Who (GB), ridden by William Carson and Beautiful Things (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ryan Kavanagh.
Carson was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without correction, causing Kavanagh and Hornby to both be marginally inconvenienced and Ghiani to take a slight check.
Approximately a furlong out Beautiful Things (IRE), placed fifth, shifted quickly left-handed before being corrected, causing Juba (IRE), unplaced, to be checked.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Beautiful Things (IRE).
Following the race, Ryan Kavanagh reported that Beautiful Things (IRE), placed fifth, hung left- handed.
