The Veterinary Officer examined Ski Angel (GB) post-race during routine testing and reported that the mare had an irregular heartbeat.
The winner, Royal Duke (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Musselburgh, on 01 July 2025 where the gelding finished sixth of eight, beaten by 4½ lengths.
