Curragh Tue, 20th Oct, 2026  Nouvel Espoir It was brilliant. He ran a nice race the last day in a higher grade so coming back to that grade with Colin Keane on his back, we were looking forward to it,. The horse has been brilliant for us; we really appreciate what he has done and we’re very lucky to have him. As the years have gone on he’s gotten better and better. Obviously, he was off a career high today and it’s brilliant. He has a great constitution because from the start of the year until now he’s done nothing but improve. He has a great temperament. I’d say that’s probably him finished for the year now.

Dundalk Fri, 16th Oct, 2026  Jazzit Jazzit had been running over five and six (furlongs) as I thought he was too weak to get a trip earlier in the year. He's a big, leggy, rakish horse and, over six, his head came back and he looked ungenuine, but I'd say he is very genuine. I'd say he has got stronger, he just needs that trip and to settle into things. He stepped up to seven and Sadhbh (Tormey) rode him in Leopardstown where he missed the kick, but it suited him, as he got into a nice rhythm and finished out very well. James (Ryan) is deadly around here, he's a serious pilot and is strong and very underrated. He doesn't get half of what he should be getting.

Dundalk Fri, 9th Oct, 2026  Send Harry He’s a good, honest, horse and is still learning, even at the age of four,. We’ve had a few frustrating runs. He loves the surface here and at least when you come here, you get a ground description and you know it’s right. We had a few frustrating days on the grass. Last week in Down Royal, no-one said it was good ground, that’s the frustration of racing sometimes. Here is good, old, reliable. He’s won here before and it’s good for the (Golden Brown) syndicate to have a fun horse, unfortunately a couple of them couldn’t be here today, but they might venture back again. We’ll run him away. He’s an older horse now and we’re not rushing to give him a break. I don’t think there is anything here for him in the next couple of weeks, but we’ll find another one. We know the road here anyway!

Cork Fri, 14th Aug, 2026  Alwaysanangel She has plenty of pace, as she showed at Newmarket where they went really quick. She was in her comfort zone today although had to come around on the 'wing' which wasn't ideal, but it was the right thing to do and she quickened up well. She only did enough when she hit the front. She is a Listed winner now and could come back to six (furlongs), so there are good options for her. It will depend on what step Joseph wants to take next. She was well bought at the breeze-ups by Stuart Bowman of Blandford Bloodstock and she runs for great people (Byrne family) who always come to support their runners.

Down Royal Fri, 19th Jun, 2026  Nouvel Espoir I knew it (rain) wouldn't bother him too much, so I was happy coming up here. I was confident and he has done it well. I know him well. Obviously, I had a winner on him last year and I rode him plenty of times throughout the year. I spoke to Dylan Browne (McMonagle) beforehand, and he just said to keep it plain and simple and to take my time on him and he said he would run a great race for me. In fairness, he put his head down when I asked him to go and he hit the line well. Judging off the form of a couple of horses in the race, I thought they were going to go hard. Jimmy said to me to take my time and there was no need to rush. Get in and get comfortable, he said, and don't worry for the first three furlongs. Be nice and relaxed and go at the '2' pole. I'm still down with Joseph O'Brien and loving every day of it down there. Cheering home all the winners (in Royal Ascot), some training performance. With all the jockeys down there, you learn a lot. Every single person inside there has been a great help, and long may it last for all the good success.
