Permission was given for Pacifica Pier (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider two pieces of interference inside the final half furlong when the winner, Glacius (GB), ridden by Neil Callan interfered with Pacifica Pier (IRE), placed third, ridden by Cieren Fallon.
In the first instance, Callan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right- handed without sufficient correction, taking Pacifica Pier (IRE) off its intended line.
In the second instance, the interference was found to be accidental as Fallon was forced to steady his mount between Del Maro (GER), placed second, and Glacius (GB) as a result of Glacius (GB) shifting further right-handed despite the rider’s best efforts.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Del Maro (GER), placed second, was slowly away, and David Egan reported that The Joker (FR), placed fourth, ran too free.
