Permission was given for Skimming Along (IRE) and TARAITI to wear a red hood to post.
Uther Pendragon (IRE) ran the previous day, 13th September 2025, at Bath, finishing seventh of thirteen runners.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one a half furlong out, involving the winner Fair Dinkum (IRE), ridden by Kieran O’Neill and Bohemian Breeze (IRE), placed second, ridden by Ashley Lewis.
O’Neill was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed, causing Lewis to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Man Of The Sea (IRE), unplaced, never travelled, Ashley Lewis reported that Bohemian Breeze, placed second, hung badly left-handed and Eve Johnson Houghton’s representative reported that Francesco Baracca (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the Going, officially described as Heavy and would prefer a quicker surface.
