Formscan - TED THE THIEF is unlikely to be much of a price but is difficult to oppose following a very impressive 13-length romp at Taunton. He comfortably reversed the Bataillon form and looks the type to continue improving in this sphere. Previous C&D winner Lightonthewing is the main danger having won at Wincanton before Christmas and finished a narrow second at Chepstow latest. The others need to improve but The Scorpion King is the pick of them.
