The five-year-old reverted to the smaller obstacles for his reappearance, also over track and trip, and served notice that his turn could be imminent with a good third. Lester Mail made a pleasing return to the fray when occupying the same position at Hexham, while Billable Grant needs to prove his 80/1 Carlisle second wasn't a fluke but has Brian Hughes booked.
